Liverpool gained revenge for Saturday's FA Cup final defeat with an emphatic win over a lacklustre Chelsea to end the Blues' hopes of a top-four finish.

Carles Puyol set to miss Euro 2012 with knee injury

Barcelona's Spanish international defender Carles Puyol could be ruled out of Euro 2012 after being told he requires an operation.
The 34-year-old was sidelined for three months earlier this year with knee trouble and Barca confirmed he is now expected to be out for six weeks.

Athletic Bilbao go in search of their first European trophy as they take on fellow Spanish side Atletico Madrid in Wednesday's Europa League final.

Madrid have won two European trophies, including the 2010 Europa League, but the closest Bilbao have come is defeat in the final of the Uefa Cup in 1977.
Bilbao have impressed in this season's competition, including eliminating Manchester United in the round of 16.

How can Chelsea beat Barcelona in the Champions League?

The question of how to beat Barcelona is one few have answered with much success in recent years.

Mario Gomez's last-minute goal gave Bayern Munich the advantage over Real Madrid after the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Franck Ribery's powerful finish had given the hosts the lead.
But Mesut Ozil's close-range effort just after the break looked to have earned the visitors a draw.

Gomez wasted a string of second-half opportunities but touched in from just a couple of yards out to give the German side a deserved lead.
